At FabRap, we’re focused on creating sustainable and ethical gift wrapping that stands the test of time. Through working with environmentally and ethically responsible suppliers and materials, we aim to support and encourage sustainable practices in everyday life. We’re about giving back to our planet and paving the way for a more socially and environmentally conscious future that we can all be proud of. Our GOTS certified supplier is held to the highest ethical business standards to ensure a product that is not only kind to the planet but kind to its people, too.

Giving back to our planet
We believe in the power of the Earth. It gives so much to us, so giving back to it just feels natural. As such, we’re committed to making sustainable decisions that limit our environmental impact, both with our products and also with making sustainable choices throughout our company. For example, our office and operations are entirely paperless. Every choice we make, big or small, is made with our planet in mind.

We feel that just living and working in a sustainable manner is not enough and therefore we made a commitment to planting one tree per order in November, 2021. This initiative is carried out by our tree planting partner, C-Free. We’re planting native tree species in Madagascar, Kenya, Nepal, and Indonesia. Many of the trees we are planting are mangroves as they help reinstate soil stabilisation, improve the quality of the water, and provide a natural habitat for fish and other rare sea creatures. Mangroves are also fantastic carbon sinks and (pound for pound) remove four times more carbon than rainforests!

We are also helping to ensure a decent income for the local villagers that plant the trees, and guaranteed income even on days where no trees can be planted due to extreme weather.

Giving back to people
In our eyes, it’s people who make the Earth go round and have the power to stimulate change. They’re the gifts that keep on giving, and as a result we aim to inspire people to combat injustice and inequality by raising awareness to social and environmental issues close to our hearts. Giving back even in a small way is very important to us, and so we regularly contribute to various charitable organisations.
